DC VA Counseling Psychotherapist, LLC, a growing psychotherapy practice specialized in relationships counseling and complex trauma conveniently located downtown in downtown Falls Church & Tysons Corner, VA is seeking to add providers to the group (in person or Teletherapy). As a relational center our foundation is based on Attachment, person-centered and systems theories. We are now looking for additional private practitioners who would enjoy independent private practice, lay back and welcoming environment. We are a group of like-minded colleagues where we can continue to learn and provide the latest forms of psychotherapy. We align with models that focus on systems theory, attachment, emotional-focus, EMDR, Internal Family Systems, AEDP (Accelerated Psychodynamic Psychotherapy), somatic psychotherapy, and trauma in addition to CBT. We currently need therapists with a clinical interest in any of the following: couples therapy, addictions, grief and loss, body image concerns, trauma, anxiety, depression, women’s issues, adolescents and young adults.
Therapists will be hired as independent contractors, and have the flexibility to create their own work schedule based on office availability or remote options. We are able to provide a mix of online and in person to best accommodate not only clients but therapists as well. We are also hybrid practice which means that we have a nice mix and stability of high-quality insurance as well as private pay fee for service clients. Ideal candidates are warm, open to continue learning, capable of working independently, and value the therapeutic relationship.
I will work with you to develop a flexible schedule that best meets your needs, as well as to develop and market a caseload that best reflects your interests and strengths as a clinician. It is important to me that you feel supported, with creativity, freedom, and independence to have a flexible schedule and to develop a caseload of clients that you are passionate about working with. The practice offers additional space for groups and workshops. Right now, we have a few specialties but open to more. We are looking into expansion so there are openings and different opportunities available.

Experience in the treatment of adolescents, couples and eating disorders is a plus. Spanish also a plus. Contract includes parking. Competitive compensation offered.
