Life can often feel overwhelming, but no one should have to go through things on their own. When these feelings get to be too much to bear, it may be difficult to know where to turn to get the help you deserve. I aim to provide a safe space for clients so that we can work together to enact positive changes and achieve your aspirations.
Working with children and adolescents, I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness techniques to help clients to help realize their potential and reach their therapeutic goals. I have received my B.A in Clinical Psychology from George Mason University, with minors in Music as a Healing Art and Sociology. I am currently earning my master’s degree from Marymount University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. In my master’s studies, I have completed course works such as Advanced Human Growth and Development and Counseling Children and Adolescents, giving me invaluable knowledge about working with this population. I also draw from attachment theory, emotional regulation and executive functioning.
Having been a registered behavior technician for over three years, working with children and adolescents of all ages, I have unique experience in behavior analysis and goal setting.
Outside of therapeutic settings, I have been a cheerleading coach for ten years and have coached multiple youth competitive cheerleading teams. Therapy may not be a quick fix, but the effort over time can improve your mental health and sense of self. Having been a cheerleader my whole life, I am here to cheer you on throughout every step of your healing journey!
