Exploring Women’s Sexuality Group

Middle Aged Women group
Women’s sexuality has been a tabu for centuries and even though we think we are comfortable with it today, we might be far from the truth. Openness and self-exploration have been associated with myriad benefits. Within the realm of sexuality, sexual exploration, body confidence, narrative we carry about sex and sexuality, race and ethnicity, persional and social values, mental and physical health can hep or hinder the extent to which women see themselves as sexual beings.
Through this group, we will explore topics like disability and sexuality, sexual dysfunctions, borrwed and socially constructed narratives,  getting to know our body and what is “healthy” sexuality.
Most information out there about sex is focus on the physiology and parts of the mind. In this group, we will explore the connection between body and mind and the importance of a healthy sexual life as part of general well-being.
Important: This group is not suitable for women who have a history of sexual trauma.
Please note that we have a women’s trauma group starting as well.
