Yes, stress can be linked to trauma. Trauma refers to a distressing or disturbing event or series of events that can have a profound psychological and emotional impact on an individual. When a person experiences trauma, their body and mind can react in various ways, and one common response is increased stress. Trauma can be subtle and ordinary trauma that most people can’t identify or see as such.
